Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is hiring full-time, 1st shift production at the Norwood, Ohio ice cream facility. The role requires reliability, basic math, and mechanical aptitude, with PPE like steel-toe boots and safety glasses mandatory.

Responsibilities include operating GMP-compliant equipment, learning CIP/COP cleaning, and promoting safety and quality in daily production to meet specifications and food-safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Steel toe boots and safety glasses required.
• Work environment can involve cooled and chilled areas.
• Heavy lifting and physical movements are required.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred; food manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Willingness to learn and understand manufacturing ice cream principles.
• Learn, promote Safety and Quality in the manufacturing environment.
• Learn and understand setup and usage of all equipment.
• Learn and understand cleaning and sanitation procedures including CIP and COP.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with the team.
• Support production to meet customer specifications, quality and food safety.
• Ensure health and safety requirements are met and safety culture is maintained.
