Job summary

Kinsley Power Systems is seeking an Ice Cream Flex Operator to join our production team in Idaho. You will operate and monitor equipment across mixing, freezing, filling and packaging lines, and support coverage for breaks, PTO, vacations, training, and shutdowns.

You’ll rotate between lines, adapt to scheduling needs, perform basic trouble-shooting, and help ensure safety, quality and food-safety compliance in a fast-paced dairy facility. HACCP/SQF/FDA awareness required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in food manufacturing preferred; mechanical aptitude a plus.
• Ability to learn and operate multiple types of equipment across production areas.
• Strong attention to detail and adaptability.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment for mixing, freezing, filling, and packaging ice cream products.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain product specifications and minimize downtime.
• Perform line changeovers and assist with start-up and shutdown procedures.
• Rotate between different production lines as needed to meet scheduling demands.
• Provide coverage for absent operators and assist in training new team members.
• Conduct in-process checks to ensure adherence to quality standards and food safety protocols (HACCP, SQF, FDA).
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and notify maintenance for repairs.
