Job summary

Toledo Ice Cream is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to maintain, set up, and troubleshoot equipment while ensuring GMP compliance and on-time production. The role requires at least one year of plant-based operator experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Schedule is Mon-Fri with 8.5-hour days and possible overtime. Training on 1st or 2nd shift is available. Competitive pay and room for growth within DFA family are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of machine operator experience in a plant environment.
• Ability to add/subtract/multiply/divide in units of measurement.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, criminal).
• Able to push/pull/stand/walk/climb/crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate and process raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain, breakdown and set up equipment and machinery; troubleshoot basic to moderate issues.
• Follow GMPs and communicate with all departments to meet daily deadlines.
