Job summary

DFA Dairy Brands operates Friendly's Ice Cream, a farmer-owned co-op delivering fresh dairy products. We seek an Ice Cream Filler Operator to join our team in Massachusetts. The role offers a 2:00 PM–10:30 PM Monday–Friday schedule with seasonal Saturdays and a competitive benefits package.

Base pay starts at $21.37 per hour with a $0.80 differential for second shift. We emphasize internal growth, comprehensive healthcare, and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork within a dairy farming

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic with various units and decimals.
• Experience in the food/beverage industry preferred.
• Must stand/walk, bend and lift up to 50 pounds; work in a wet environment.
• Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work in a team.

OUR Ice Cream Filler Operators earn:

• $21.37 per hour base rate
• Plus $0.80 differential for 2nd shift

SCHEDULE:

Monday to Friday with seasonal Saturdays, 2:00PM - 10:30PM

Job requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year experience preferred.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend for virtually the entire shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally including overhead.
• Must be able to work in a wet environment.
• Some exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background, and criminal checks).
