Job summary

DFA Dairy Brands is hiring an Ice Cream Filler Operator in Wilbraham, MA. The role supports Friendly's Ice Cream manufacturing operations, part of the DFA cooperative serving thousands of family farmers. You will work in a fast-paced production environment and contribute to quality dairy products.

Schedule is Monday to Friday with some Saturdays, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The company offers 401(k), healthcare, PTO, and opportunities for growth within the DFA family.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year experience required.
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements.
• Experience in food and beverage industry preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend for virtually the entire shift.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.

Monday to Friday with seasonal Saturdays, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Job requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year experience required.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend for virtually the entire shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally including overhead.
• Must be able to work in a wet environment.
• Some exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to pass all pre*employment screens (including drug, background, and criminal checks).
