Job summary

DFA Dairy Brands is hiring an Ice Cream Filler Operator for Friendly's Ice Cream. This role includes filling ice cream products and maintaining the quality of our products in a team-oriented environment.

The schedule is Monday to Friday, 2:00PM to 10:30PM with professional growth opportunities. We offer competitive wages starting at $21.37 per hour and additional shift differentials, along with comprehensive benefits including a 401(k), paid time off, and uniforms.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year experience preferred.
• Able to perform basic math operations.
• Experience in the food and beverage industry preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend for virtually the entire shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to work in a wet environment.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

• $21.37 per hour base rate
• Plus $0.80 differential for 2nd shift

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday with seasonal Saturdays, 2:00PM - 10:30PM

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year experience preferred.
• Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend for virtually the entire shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally including overhead.
• Must be able to work in a wet environment.
• Some exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background, and criminal checks).
