Job summary

Paradis Montrose is seeking an ice cream team member to join our thriving counter. You will scoop ice cream, handle cash, and craft shakes in a friendly store environment at Montrose, CA, mornings and after opening hours.

Starting wage is minimum wage with tips, with a path to full-time in summer. You will contribute to a clean, inviting shop and delightful customer experiences while learning about our Danish-inspired flavors.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Standing for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work in hot and cold environments including restocking freezers.
• Cash handling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, friendly, and exceptional customer service.
• Explain ice cream offerings with in-depth product knowledge.
• Prepare orders accurately and per guidelines.
• Calculate totals, process payments, and provide correct change.
• Restock ice cream, supplies, and merchandise.
• Produce ice cream, shakes, coffee, and Paradis products when applicable.
• Adhere to safety and food handling regulations.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.
