Job summary

City of Concord's General Services Department - Douglas N. Everett Arena is seeking an Arena Attendant to assist with public skating sessions, manage skate rentals, and provide customer service in the arena pro shop.

Responsibilities include patrolling the ice for safety, assisting injured skaters, handling cash at the front office, and helping with cleaning after sessions. Typical shifts are varied, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Good skating ability.
• Cash handling and balancing.
• Providing exceptional customer service to the public.
• Completed Application & Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Help collect money at front office.
• Patrol the Ice during skating sessions ensuring the safety of the skaters.
• Help with any injured skaters including simple first aid and filling out accident report.
• 1st one on the ice - Last one off the ice.
• Help clean up after session, empty trash, sweep up.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
