Job summary

City of St. Peters, MO is seeking an Ice Attendant at Rec-Plex North and Rec-Plex South to help maintain a safe and enjoyable ice arena. You will monitor open skating sessions, assist with facility preparation and clean-up, and provide excellent customer service.

This role supports hockey, figure skating and special events, with flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. A background check and drug screening are required to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Skating experience is preferred but not required.
• Reliable and punctual, with availability for flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to adapt to different situations and physically participate in rink activities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests follow facility policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness in the ice arena and surrounding areas
• Assist guests with questions and provide top-notch customer service
• Support special events and ice rentals as needed
• Respond effectively to emergencies and administer first aid if necessary
