Job summary

DaMar Staffing is seeking a qualified medical coder to review and code diagnostic and procedural information for Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance payments. The role focuses on ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding to support accurate reimbursement and compliance with coding guidelines.

The candidate should have at least two years of ICD-10-CM coding experience and hold CCS/CCS-P or CPC certification, with a high school diploma as a minimum educational requirement.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent.
• Two years of coding experience using ICD-10-CM.
• CCS, CCS-P or CPC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and code diagnostic and procedural information for Medicare, Medicaid and private payers.
• Determine payments and ensure compliance with coding guidelines and third-party policies.
• Support provider/patient data accuracy and reimbursement optimization.
