Job summary

Ohio Living seeks a Medical Coder & QA, Clinical Reviewer to process Start of Care, Recertification and related OASIS data with accuracy. You will review 485s, ROCs, and related clinical records to ensure coding and documentation align with plans of care and regulatory standards.

The role requires ICD-10 coding certification or willingness to obtain within six months, experience with OASIS, and proficiency in Windows and MS Office within a home health setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of post-secondary education in a clinical specialist or medical records program; COS-C designation from OCCB required.
• Cancer ICD-10 coding certification required or willing to obtain within six months of hire.
• Current unencumbered LPN license in Ohio preferred; OASIS-related certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process SOC and ROC and accompanying OASIS data for accuracy and timeliness.
• Review 485s and clinical data to ensure alignment with assessments.
• Perform ICD-10 coding per company standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist with staff training on OASIS documentation and compliance.
• Support billing and data collection for home health and hospice programs.
