Job summary

Intertek is seeking an ICC Special Inspector in Wenatchee, Washington to perform testing, observations, and inspection duties under general supervision within the A/E/C industry. The role requires ICC Reinforced Concrete certification and about 2 years of related inspection experience, plus a valid driver’s license.

Wage ranges from $30 to $50 per hour, with relocation assistance and strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ related inspection experience.
• ICC Reinforced Concrete.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Ability to work off shifts and overtime.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently; over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and calibrate testing equipment and conduct soil and/or concrete testing and provide an assessment of data through reporting.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Use specific methods to observe site activities and perform tasks and complex assignments.
• Make detailed observations, interpret results, and maintain documentation of test data.
• Communicate effectively with client and project teams and attend project meetings.
