Job description

NOVA Engineering & Environmental is seeking an ICC certified Master Special Inspector for our Norcross or Kennesaw, GA office. We are looking for a self‑motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Primary duties include performing structural building inspections and QA/QC tests on masonry, reinforced concrete, structural steel, and related materials. Some travel is required, and the position will be predominantly field located.

Responsibilities:

Perform inspections in accordance with code and project requirements.
Interpret project plans and specifications and ensure project requirements are being met.
Conduct field testing and inspections.
Review plans and specifications, performing the inspections accordingly.
Communicate results with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Input results and observations into daily reports.

Requirements:

3+ years of construction materials testing and special inspection experience.
ICC Certifications required in Soils, Structural Masonry, Reinforced Concrete, Welding, Steel, and Bolting.
ICC Master of Special Inspections is highly preferred.
Proof of a clean driving record.
