NOVA Engineering is seeking an ICC Special Inspector (Reinforced Concrete &/or Masonry) for our Raleigh, NC office. The role focuses on field inspections, testing of soils and concrete, and detailed reporting to support construction projects.
Applicants should hold ICC Reinforced Concrete or Structural Masonry credentials (MSI preferred). Travel to sites is required; opportunity for professional growth and competitive benefits are offered by NOVA Engineering.
Qualifikationen
- ICC Reinforced Concrete and/or Structural Masonry is required (at least one).
- ICC Structural Steel & Bolting and ICC Structural Welding a plus.
- ICC MSI preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, safety rules, and procedures.
Aufgaben
- Structural inspections for rebar, masonry, post-tensioning, and foundations.
- Perform field materials testing of soil, concrete, and asphalt.
- Prepare detailed field reports with test results and inspections.
- Perform laboratory tests on soil and concrete and report results.
- Evaluate site and subgrade conditions and provide recommendations.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and staff on construction issues.
