Job summary

Dollar Tree Distribution INC seeks an ICC Department Manager to oversee quality control and inventory accuracy across a high-volume distribution center. You will lead a 24/7 operation, drive process improvements, and mentor teams to maintain data integrity and efficient store order fulfillment.

Responsibilities include acting as WMS SME, troubleshooting, training staff, and partnering with DC leadership on continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in material handling, logistics, or distribution center operations with a focus on inventory control.
  • Strong leadership experience with a track record of developing and motivating teams.
  • Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), such as Manhattan.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement solutions.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions, solve problems, and maintain accountability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, queries, reporting).

  • Quality Control & Inventory Accuracy: Perform audits to support accurate and timely store order fulfillment.
  • Quality Control & Inventory Accuracy: Monitor and enforce quality standards across all DC operations.
  • Quality Control & Inventory Accuracy: Develop and implement controls and procedures to improve inventory accuracy and process quality.
  • Systems & WMS Support: Serve as the subject matter expert for the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Systems & WMS Support: Act as the primary point of contact for WMS-related troubleshooting, issue resolution, and user support.
  • Systems & WMS Support: Partner with Support Center logistics teams to address system needs and enhancements.
  • Systems & WMS Support: Assist in training associates on WMS functionality and system-related processes.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Supervise, assign, and manage daily responsibilities of Quality Control associates.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and development of team members.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead performance management, coaching, and disciplinary actions in partnership with DC leadership and HR.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership & Communication: Collaborate with DC leadership to ensure quality and inventory goals are met.

About Your Role:

As an ICC Department Manager at one of Dollar Tree’s Distribution Centers, you’ll oversee the quality control function across all areas and shifts within a high-volume, 24/7 operation. You’ll be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining the integrity of logistics processes, and driving compliance with company policies and procedures.

Your day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

Quality Control & Inventory Accuracy:

Your Required Skills and Experience:
