Job summary

Air Force Civilian Service seeks a civilian Acquisition Program Management Specialist as Propulsion Deputy Branch Chief in the AFNWC, Hill AFB near Layton, Utah. You will oversee program sustainment, developmental modifications, and testing for Minuteman III subsystems, providing 24/7/365 support to national security.

The role requires 5+ years of complex program management in aerospace, strong leadership, and advanced PM credentials with DAWIA.

Qualifications

Requires at least five years of acquisition program management experience, preferably with ICBM or aerospace programs.
Strong leadership, supervision, and mentorship in a technical environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration with internal/external stakeholders at all levels.
Must meet DAWIA Advanced PM certification requirements and sign a service agreement.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning, organizing, and directing sustainment and development activities for ICBM programs.
Advise on acquisition strategies and guide milestones in line with defense policies.
Supervise civilians, military, and contractors across multiple organizations as needed.
Develop and refine policies to improve mission effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
Set goals aligning organizational and branch objectives and drive key results.
Execute branch objectives and support MMIII propulsion lines of effort.
Represent the organization with AF leadership and installation partners.
Evaluate program goals to inform long-range planning and policy updates.
