Job summary
Luminant Generation Company LLC is seeking an Instrumentation, Controls & Electrical Maintenance Technician in Dover, Delaware. You will install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain plant instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation of a combined-cycle facility.
The role includes calibration of sensors and actuators, maintenance of DCS/PLC/HMI networks, reading schematics, and supporting outages.
Qualifications
- Graduate in instrumentation, electronics or electrical technology with hands-on maintenance experience.
- Experience troubleshooting industrial control systems and electrical equipment.
- Proficient reading technical drawings and control logic documents.
Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot and maintain instrumentation and control systems.
- Maintain and support DCS/PLC/HMI and related networks.
- Calibrate sensors, transmitters, valves, and actuators; support turbine control systems.
- Read one-line diagrams and control drawings; perform loop checks and testing.
- Coordinate with contractors during outages and document work in CMMS.
