Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a mid‑level Instrumentation, Controls, and Electrical Engineer (ICAEE) to oversee the Dedicated Controls Engineer program, support turbine controls activities, and coordinate resources to fulfill contract requirements.

The position is based to cover customer sites in Newnan and Smyrna, GA, within 100 miles of either facility, with occasional travel to other Georgia sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four‑year institution with 2+ years of relevant experience, or 4+ years of related experience/training.
• Experience with Netmation and/or Ovation control systems is preferred.
• Travel up to ~10% and willingness to work at customer sites is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates core competencies: action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, developing self & others, ownership.
• Provide start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting support for equipment failures with root cause analysis.
• Prepare technical reports detailing equipment conditions, actions, and results.
• Travel to customer plant sites to plan outages, provide technical direction, and engage with customers on contractual matters.
• Support LTSA program execution by tracking unit history, hours, starts, and repair status.
• Serve as the primary technical focal point for issue resolution within the Netmation control system.
