Job summary

MITRE in Bethesda seeks an Intelligence Community AI SME to translate fast-moving AI developments into clear, implementable policy, governance, and senior leader decision support. The role requires hands-on AI understanding and the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.

An active Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance and on-site work four days a week are required. You will analyze AI concepts, develop actionable deliverables for government sponsors, and help shape

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience, or an advanced degree with relevant experience.
• Technical literacy in AI concepts and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Active Top Secret/SCI w/Poly clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen per clearance requirements.
• On-site requirement of 4 days a week on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate fast-moving AI developments into clear, implementable policy, governance, and senior leader decision support.
• Develop clear, concise, technically accurate, and actionable deliverables for government decision-makers on AI topics.
• Assess and align AI capabilities with enterprise mission priorities and acquisition plans.
• Serve as a liaison between Government sponsors and industry leaders to enable collaboration and AI adoption.
