Job summary

Agilent Technologies is seeking an experienced Data Scientist IBP to lead data-driven insights and advanced analytics across global demand and supply planning. You will build and automate inventory models, dashboards, and KPIs to support enterprise decisions and ensure planning maturity.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, strong communication, and leadership to drive the Ignite IBP transformation journey.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
Typically, at least 8 years of data science experience.
Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL.
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or Spotfire.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide data-driven insights, dashboards, and scenario modeling to support supply planners and enterprise decisions.
Drive continuous improvement in supply and inventory analytics, data quality, and model reliability.
Drive automation and advanced analytics using Python, SQL, and BI tools.
Build, maintain, and enhance inventory optimization models and targets.
Generate dashboards and KPIs reflecting plan stability, constraints, and readiness.
Develop near-term supply-demand analytics and early warning indicators.
