Qualifications

• Extensive IBMi MQ experience.
• 5–7 years as an IBMi MQ administrator or engineer.
• AS/400 platform experience with installation and upgrades.
• Queue managers/queues/channels/listeners knowledge; strong on-call readiness.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME consulting on technologies while ensuring standards compliance.
• Translate business requirements into technical blueprints and playbooks.
• Evaluate reference models and ensure fit-for-purpose designs.
• Develop software to automate manual or repetitive tasks.
• Conduct on-site evaluations of third-party products considered for firm adoption.
• Promote an inclusive environment and resolve blockers.
• Support production stability and 24x7 on-call activities.
• Deliver critical infrastructure projects and upgrades.
