Job summary

Peraton is seeking an IBM Maximo Technical Lead to drive Maximo capabilities for the BEP MES environment. You will lead configuration, customization, integration, asset management, and maintenance processes while coordinating with MES, ERP, data, and cybersecurity teams.

The role requires hands-on leadership across BEP facilities, with a hybrid work model in Washington, DC and periodic travel to Fort Worth, TX as needed, to ensure operation continuity and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maximo technical and functional activities across asset management and work management.

Basic Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust level clearance
• Bachelors Degree and 8 years professional experience or an Associates Degree and 10 years professional experience, or a High School Diploma/equivalent and 12 years professional experience
• Strong progressive experience supporting enterprise applications, systems engineering, or manufacturing/asset management systems, with significant hands-on experience using IBM Maximo.
• Demonstrated experience administering, configuring, customizing, integrating, and sustaining IBM Maximo in a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of Maximo Asset Management and related capabilities, including asset hierarchy, work orders, preventive/predictive maintenance, asset criticality, reliability, workflows, and reporting.
• Experience developing or supporting Maximo integrations with enterprise applications, ERP/MES platforms, databases, APIs, or other manufacturing systems.
• Experience with Maximo scripting, configuration, application customization, data management, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
• Experience supporting the full application lifecycle, including requirements, design, development/configuration, testing, deployment, documentation, and operations and maintenance.
• Experience working in Agile software/product delivery environments; SAFe experience is strongly desired.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and coordinate solutions across application, database, infrastructure, IT/OT, cybersecurity, and business teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues and recommendations to Government and senior program stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.
• IBM Maximo certification or demonstrated advanced Maximo technical expertise.
• Experience with Maximo Application Suite (MAS), Maximo Manage, or modern Maximo platform capabilities.
• Experience integrating Maximo with MES, Oracle EBS/OCI, SCADA/PLC systems, manufacturing equipment, IoT/edge platforms, or industrial data environments.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations, industrial asset management, maintenance/reliability engineering, or production environments.
• Experience with Oracle databases, SQL, APIs, integration middleware, enterprise data platforms, or cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of manufacturing IT/OT architectures, automation, predictive maintenance, or industrial analytics.
• Experience with cybersecurity, Zero Trust, NIST, or IT/OT security practices applicable to manufacturing systems.
• Experience with data quality, master data, reporting, dashboards, analytics, or AI/ML-enabled maintenance and reliability use cases.
• Experience working with Federal Government agencies, Treasury, BEP, or other regulated/high-availability operational environments.
• SAFe certification and/or experience leading Agile delivery teams.

Peraton is seeking an IBM Maximo Technical Lead to serve as the functional lead for IBM Maximo capabilities supporting the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Manufacturing Execution System (MES) environment. The Maximo Lead will provide hands‑on leadership for Maximo configuration, customization, integration, asset management, maintenance processes, reporting, troubleshooting, and sustainment. The position will work across manufacturing, MES, enterprise applications, data, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders to improve equipment reliability and operational performance at BEP facilities.

Work Location: This is a hybrid position, with the expectation to work on‑site 3 days per week in Washington, DC

Travel: This position will require periodic support at the Fort Worth, TX location as required by the customer.

What you will do

• Lead Maximo technical and functional activities supporting asset management, work management, preventive/predictive maintenance, asset hierarchy, equipment reliability, and operational reporting.
• Configure and customize IBM Maximo applications, workflows, business rules, scripts, screens, reports, and related capabilities in accordance with BEP requirements and approved architecture.
• Analyze and resolve Maximo application, integration, data, configuration, and performance issues and coordinate Tier 2/Tier 3 troubleshooting as required.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Maximo and MES, ERP, manufacturing equipment, databases, APIs, and other enterprise systems.
• Support asset hierarchy, asset criticality, maintenance strategies, work orders, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, inventory/material relationships, and related data quality activities.
• Support dashboards, metrics, reports, and analytics used to monitor equipment uptime, reliability, maintenance performance, and manufacturing operations.
• Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, development/configuration, testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, deployment, and production support.
• Work within Peraton's Agile/SAFe delivery approach, including participation in Program Increments, sprint planning, demonstrations, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and release activities.
• Coordinate Maximo dependencies with MES, Oracle EBS/OCI, IT/OT systems, manufacturing equipment, data platforms, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams.
• Support modernization and continuous improvement initiatives involving manufacturing systems, automation, IoT/edge technologies, data analytics, and Industry 4.0/5.0 capabilities, as applicable.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration records, interface specifications, operating procedures, test artifacts, and knowledge‑transfer materials.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Maximo developers, analysts, and support personnel and help establish repeatable engineering and sustainment practices.
• Support releases, patches, upgrades, deployments, and planned after‑hours/weekend activities when required to protect currency production operations.
• Support BEP transition‑in, knowledge transfer, operational readiness, and continuity of support with no disruption to critical manufacturing systems.
