Job summary

A tech firm is seeking a detail-oriented iSeries / Power Systems Administrator in Las Vegas. The successful candidate will manage the infrastructure supporting key business applications by maintaining IBM iSeries environments, monitoring performance, and resolving performance issues. An Associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience and at least 1 year in iSeries administration is required. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in iSeries / Power Systems administration.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain iSeries / Power Systems hardware and software.
• Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system performance and reliability issues.
• Manage incoming service requests and incidents through the Help Desk Ticketing System.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for secure implementations.
• Monitor system performance and permissions.
