Job summary

A leading IT consulting firm in the United States is looking for a Mid-Senior level professional with extensive experience in CA/2E and COBOL. The candidate will lead a team to develop innovative solutions using core adjudication logic and have a strong understanding of PBM functions. An ideal candidate will possess 15+ years of coding experience in CA/2E, as well as familiarity with accumulators and Med D Pricing. This is a contract position focused on Information Technology.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of hands-on coding experience in CA/2E (SYNON).
• 8+ years of hands-on coding experience in COBOL AS400 and/or COBOL ILE.
• Strong functional knowledge of RxClaim and adjudication logic.

Responsibilities

• Lead development in an onshore/offshore model.
• Work on continuous integration and improvement.
• Develop technology roadmap for the team.

Responsibilities

• Strong functional knowledge of core PBM functions specifically core adjudication, pricing, accumulators, MED D Pricing, benefit plan, patient pay and regulations
• 15+ years of hands‑on coding experience in CA/2E (Synon) including programming, array handling, commit control
• 8+ years of hands‑on coding experience in COBOL AS400 and/or COBOL ILE
• Experience working with ACMS/MOM
• Strong exposure to DB2400
• Analyze and understand the functional and technical requirements
• Work with business and capability teams to discuss and refine the requirements
• Ability to guide the team and do hands‑on development
• Partner with team members to build robust, efficient, effective solutions
• Identify opportunities to fine‑tune and optimize applications
• Lead team in an onshore/offshore model
• Work in a team focused on continuous integration, improvement and learning
• Contribute to developing the technology roadmap for the team both functionally and technically
• Experience of coordinating with the client for requirement clarification and solution discussions
