Dunbar Wellness Group is seeking an IBHS Clinical Director to provide clinical leadership and oversight for Intensive Behavioral Health Services programs. This role ensures trauma-informed, culturally responsive, evidence-based services delivered to children and families.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience in behavioral health services.
  • Experience providing clinical supervision.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
  • Knowledge of Pennsylvania IBHS regulations and service delivery requirements.

  • Provides clinical supervision and oversight to Outpatient clinicians in delivery of services.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by CEO/COO.

GENERAL OVERVIEW OF KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Dunbar Wellness Group is seeking an experienced and dedicated IBHS Clinical Director to provide clinical leadership and oversight for the organization’s Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) programs. The IBHS Clinical Director is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and evidence-based behavioral health services to children and families throughout the community.

This position provides clinical supervision, program oversight, staff development, and quality assurance support while ensuring compliance with Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS), and IBHS regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical leadership experience, knowledge of Pennsylvania IBHS regulations, and the ability to support a growing behavioral health program.

ESSENTIAL AND CORE FUNCTIONS:
  • Ensures the recruitment and contracting of BCs, MTs, and BHT to staff all IBHS contracted services.

  • Provides clinical supervision and oversight to the Outpatient clinicians in the delivery of therapeutic services to clients.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by the CEO and/or COO
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
  • Active Pennsylvania professional license required:
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or
    • Other applicable independent clinical license.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience in behavioral health services.
  • Experience providing clinical supervision.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
  • Knowledge of Pennsylvania IBHS regulations and service delivery requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous IBHS Clinical Director or IBHS supervisory experience.
  • Experience overseeing BHT, MT, and BC services.
  • Experience working within community-based behavioral health programs.
  • Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania Medicaid behavioral health systems.
  • Experience with quality assurance, audits, and compliance reviews.

ORGANIZATIONAL ACCOUNTABILITY AND RELATIONSHIPS:
  • To be supervised by the CEO and COO
  • Complete Comprehensive Bio-psychosocial Evaluations
  • Conduct individual and group supervision
  • Engage in training support, as needed.
  • Conduct and/or participate in monthly peer supervision.
  • Provide clinical support to clients and assist the treatment team in securing services.
  • Review and adhere to new policies and procedures in accordance with new policies and procedures.
  • Review new policies and procedures
  • Completion of addendums, as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Have a minimum of 2-5 years of full-time postgraduate experience in the provision of mental health direct service to children, youth or young adults.
  • Have a graduate/bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, human services, public administration, business administration or related field from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the US Dept. of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation
  • Valid PA child abuse, criminal history, FBI clearances, and CPR/ First Aid
