Job summary

A counseling service provider is looking for a Behavioral Health Technician to deliver one-to-one and group support to children or adolescents. The position requires various educational backgrounds including a Bachelor's or Associate’s degree, or high school diploma accompanied by relevant experience. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $19.00 per hour and the role is per diem with ongoing training provided. Clearances are mandatory for employment.

Qualifications

• Provide one-to-one and/or group support with behavioral modification.
• Accept additions to caseload as assigned.
• Participate in ongoing training and workshops.

Responsibilities

• Support and intervene with children or adolescents as outlined in Treatment Plan.
• Take direction from the Behavioral Consultant.
• Complete required clearances.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in a Mental Health or Human Service field

Bachelor's degree in any field with one year full-time work experience with children or adolescents

Associate’s Degree or credits toward Bachelor’s with three years experience

High school diploma with two years experience

High school diploma with 40 hours of RBT training
