Job summary

Public Health Management Corporation is seeking a Full-Time Behavioral Health Technician to provide 1:1 therapeutic support to children and adolescents in school, community, and home settings. You will implement treatment plans, use appropriate behavioral interventions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

You will support crisis management, partner with teachers and caregivers, and help translate goals into actionable strategies while upholding CASSP principles and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, sociology, education, criminal justice, or another human service field.
• 2 years of experience in behavioral health services preferred.
• Must meet one of: degree in related field or HS diploma with RBT training.

Responsibilities

• Foster a therapeutic relationship with the child and support goals in the treatment plan.
• Apply interventions matched to the individual to achieve treatment goals.
• Provide input to develop the treatment plan and monitor progress.
• Offer crisis management and de-escalation strategies to support clients.
• Coach teachers, parents, and children on implementing strategies.
• Collaborate with treatment team and attend supervision/training as directed.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with agency policies.
