Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. in Hackensack, NJ seeks a Gastroenterologist specializing in Inflammatory Bowel Disease to join the Center for Inflammatory Bowel Disease at Hackensack University Medical Center.

The role offers an academic practice, collaboration with nutritionists and surgeons, participation in clinical trials, and a path toward a faculty appointment with the School of Medicine. The ideal candidate will have GI fellowship training, IBD experience, board certification, and NJ

Qualifications

• M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School.
• Fellowship training in Gastroenterology from an accredited program.
• Additional training and clinical experience in Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
• Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
• Ability to obtain a New Jersey Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Join a multidisciplinary team focused on care of patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease in a Center of Excellence.
• Collaborate with nutritionists, social workers and colorectal surgery.
• Work with fellows, residents and other trainees in an academic gastroenterology practice.
• Participate in state-of-the-art clinical trials.
• Be part of a regional program of excellence with access to an expansive care network.
• Eligible for faculty appointment to the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.
