Job summary

University of California, Davis is recruiting for 1 full-time Ladder Rank/In Residence Professor in Gastroenterology. The role includes establishing an extramurally funded IBD research program and providing GI consultations and endoscopy for ambulatory patients in the Sacramento region.

The candidate will supervise fellows and medical students, give lectures, and participate in the GI division's growth and education efforts while contributing to clinical care at UC Davis Health.

Qualifications

• Teaching experience at undergraduate or graduate level.
• Clinical skills and interest in IBD.
• Extramural funding in research related to IBD.

Responsibilities

• Provide gastroenterology consultation and endoscopy services for IBD patients.
• Supervise fellows, residents, and medical students in consultations and procedures; deliver lectures.
• Establish and maintain an extramurally funded research program in cell therapies for IBD.
• Collaborate across clinics and participate in call at UC Davis Medical Center.
