Regions Hospital seeks a part-time Lactation Consultant to support inpatient and outpatient breastfeeding care within an interdisciplinary team. You will assess needs, provide guidance on latch, milk supply, weight gain, and prematurity, and refer to the broader care team as needed.

Under the Nurse Manager, you will educate nursing and medical staff, coordinate lactation education, and contribute to a facility recognized for patient safety and a leading midwife practice in the Twin Cities.

Qualifications

• Completion of a healthcare related program or equivalent experience.
• Two years' experience in a similar role or in lieu of program completion.
• IBCLC certification or eligibility within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Provide lactation counseling in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Assess breastfeeding needs and provide guidance on latch, milk supply, and weight gain.
• Refer to interdisciplinary care team as needed.
• Educate nursing and medical staff on lactation care.
