Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System is seeking a Lactation Consultant RN Per Diem to support the LDR/Mother-Baby, NICU, Antepartum and Pediatric breastfeeding teams. You will identify educational needs, develop programs, and maintain records while serving as a lactation resource for the medical staff.

The role requires NJ RN licensure, IBCLC, BLS, and NRP certifications, and offers per diem compensation with potential for pay differentials and tuition-related benefits.

Qualifications

• Current licensed Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• IBCLC certification.
• BLS certification as approved by the American Heart Association.
• NRP certification.

Responsibilities

• Identify educational needs of the LDR/Mother-Baby, NICU, Antepartum and Pediatric breastfeeding mother and nursing staff.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate one-on-one and in-service educational programs in conjunction with the Clinical Specialist.
• Develop and maintain records and serve as a lactation resource person.
• Provide consultation, promotion, and support to medical staff as requested.
