Job summary

Aizer Health is seeking a dedicated lactation consultant to support new mothers and their infants. The role focuses on breastfeeding assessment, problem solving, and education to promote maternal and infant health outcomes. You will work within a patient-centered team delivering high-quality lactation care.

Preference is for candidates with nursing or midwifery degrees and IBCLC certification, plus experience with electronic medical records in a hospital or clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Nursing or midwifery degree is required.
• International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is required.
• At least 6 months of inpatient lactation experience or knowledge of neonatal/pediatric breastfeeding issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered lactation support for mothers and infants, including assessments of latch, milk production, and breastfeeding techniques.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and lactation networks to tailor plans for each mother–baby pair.
• Coordinate follow-up care, referrals to clinics, and documentation to ensure continuity of breastfeeding care.
• Maintain infection control, hygiene, and ethical standards during consultations.
• Ensure privacy and supportive environment for mothers and infants during assessments.
