Job summary

District of Columbia International School (DCI) is hiring a full-time Middle Math School Teacher to provide IB Middle Years Programme mathematics instruction for grades 6-8 at our DC campus. The role includes planning, classroom instruction, and advisory duties within the IB framework and leverages 1:1 technology integration.

Salary ranges from $63,113 to $105,575, starting salary determined by education and experience. A Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience teaching in IB math or related content area strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with G-Suite tools (Gmail) and multiple tech platforms for instruction and communication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan lessons using the IB Math Education curriculum framework.
• Deliver immersive IB Math instruction to diverse learners.
• Advise students and support the advisory curriculum and school program.
• Collaborate with general and special educators, coordinators, and leadership.
