Job summary

Prospect Schools in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a SY26-27 6-8 Humanities Teacher for a 10-month, full-time, exempt role. The position centers IB-aligned instruction in a diverse middle school with a strong equity focus.

The teacher will plan and deliver culturally responsive lessons, collaborate with co-teachers and leaders, build a caring classroom community, and engage families through regular updates. A Bachelor's degree and NY teaching license are required or in progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Prior teaching experience required.
• New York Teaching License or in process required.
