Job summary

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in Fort Wayne, USA, is seeking an IATF System Administrator to support the design, development, implementation, and auditing of the Quality Management System for North America locations. This role includes audits of the Logistics Center Americas and SCM Americas, and collaboration with ServicePLUS.

The position backs up the LCA Quality Document resource, coordinates audits, and drives corrective actions across locations with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Trelleborg Sealing Solutions OR minimum 2 years as ISO 9001 internal auditor.
• IATF 16949:2015 auditor certification is a plus.
• Internal auditor certifications preferred but can be obtained within 6 months in the role.
• Experience reading and understanding part drawings and specifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, development and maintenance of IATF documentation for annual audit schedules.
• Manage internal product and process audits through weekly audits at SCM LCA.
• Provide training and answer inquiries on documentation requirements.
• Investigate and implement corrective actions for LCA warehouse-related customer complaints.
• Execute dock audits for assigned customers to support defect containment.
• Collect and prepare data for end-of-month quality metrics and site performance.

Summary Of Role

The IATF System Administrator is responsible for supporting the design, development, implementation, and auditing of the Quality Management System for Trelleborg Sealing Solutions (TSS) Industrial Americas, Supply Chain Management (SCM) Americas , and ServicePLUS locations in North America. Coordination of product and process audits at the Logistics Center Americas (LCA) as well as supporting the SCMA Quality Manager for management process internal audits at all locations. Supports investigation and corrective actions for LCA related customer complaints. Serves as process back up for the LCA Quality Document resource.

Tasks And Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, development and maintenance of IATF documentation in support of annual audit schedules at TSS Industrial Americas, SCM Americas and ServicePLUS locations.
• Manage internal product and process audits through planning and execution of weekly audits at SCM LCA.
• Provide training and answer inquiries from team members on the proper collection of documentation requirements.
• Problem solving, corrective action and preventive action for assigned customer complaints releated to LCA warehouse errors.
• Dock audits for assigned customers in support of defect containment.
• Collect and prepare data for end of month quality metrics and site performance.

Education And Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience within Trelleborg Sealing Solutions OR minimum 2 years experience as ISO 9001 certified internal auditor. IATF 16949:2015 auditor certification is a plus.
• Quality management system internal auditor certification (ex. ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, or AS9100D) preferred but can obtain in first 6 months in the new role
• Experience in reading and understanding part drawings and specifications required
• Experience working in a distribution, manufacturing and/or lean systems environment a plus
• Experience of understanding and effective use of AIAG Core Tools preferred
• Experience in sealing applications, rubber, and/or plastics production a plus
• Working knowledge of root cause analysis including related methodologies such as: Ishikawa, 5 Why, 8D, PDCA Kepner-Tregoe, Shainin, and Cause-Effect Diagrams
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required

Travel Requirements

• Up to 10% domestic and/or international.
