Job summary

Ian's Pizza Milwaukee is hiring a part-time Dough and Cheese Prep Cook to start immediately. The role includes measuring, mixing, weighing and preparing dough, shredding cheese, and keeping the prep area clean and stocked. You’ll transport dough between Story Hill and Downtown locations using the company van.

Shifts are about 9am–5pm, roughly 20 hours per week. No experience is required, though bakery or bulk dough prep experience is a plus.

• Able to stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs regularly.

• Keep the prep area clean, organized and stocked.
• Load and transport dough to Ian's Pizza Downtown using the company van; return empty trays to Story Hill.

Job Responsibilities and Expectations

You'll be measuring, mixing, weighing, and preparing dough using a dough mixer and dough rounder, as well as shredding and preparing cheese.

You'll keep the prep area clean, organized, and well-stocked. You will also load up and transport dough to the Ian's Pizza Downtown (146 E Juneau Ave) using our company van, and then bring empty dough trays back to Story Hill.

No experience required, though past experience in bulk dough prep or bakery production is a huge plus.

• Able to stand, walk, be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and carry 50lbs up and down stairs regularly.
• Able to tolerate touching and being around allergens such as gluten, dairy, eggs, etc.
• Comfortable using industrial kitchen equipment, sharp knives, and other equipment of the business.
• Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures.
• Must be 18+ years old to apply.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (IDs required at Orientation).
• Must hold a valid driver's license and have a clean, or near clean, driving record.

Scheduling and Location

Shifts would be anywhere between 9am-5pm any day of the week. This is a part-time position, about 20 hours a week.

Most of your tasks will be completed at Ian's Pizza Story Hill (5300 W Bluemound Road), and you will load, transport and unload dough using the company van at Ian's Pizza Downtown (146 E Juneau Ave).
