Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a Data Analyst in Springfield, VA to support data-driven decision making for joint IAMD engagements. The role involves modeling, ML applications, and performance analysis to enhance warfighting capabilities.

Candidates should be technically adept and able to work with engineers and analysts on-site. The position requires 2–5+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s in a technical field, and an active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, math, OR stats; 2–5+ years of experience.
• Ability to present analytic methodologies and results clearly to audiences.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, or R for data analysis and visualization.
• Ability to work with engineers and analysts across systems with minimal supervision.
• On-site work five days per week and active Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide data analysis support for joint IAMD engagements.
• Model development and modification for ongoing studies using ML.
