Job summary

Premier America Credit Union is seeking an IAM Information Security Engineer in Chatsworth (onsite daily). You will design, implement, and maintain security controls across networks, endpoints, servers, cloud, and IAM, ensuring audit readiness and regulatory alignment.

The role requires collaboration with IT, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams to embed security into daily operations. Your expertise should include AD, DevSecOps, ITIL, and cloud security across Azure and AWS, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in information security, CS or IT.
• 5+ years in information security engineering or related roles.
• Experience with AD, Agile, DevSecOps, and ITIL.
• Knowledge of NIST/ISO/CIS controls; finance sector preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across network, endpoints, servers, cloud, and IAM.
• Configure and support security tools such as EDR/XDR, firewalls, IAM, MFA, and PAM.
• Monitor security alerts and assist incident containment and remediation.
• Lead vulnerability management and hardening efforts with IT teams.
• Participate in incident response, risk assessments, vendor reviews, and audits.
• Review system designs for security risks and align with frameworks.
• Develop and implement IAM framework with stakeholders.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness for FFIEC/NIST.
• Drive continuous improvement in InfoSec and IT processes.
