Job summary

Northwood Space is seeking a Corporate IT Security Engineer to own IAM architecture and Okta administration across hybrid environments. You will implement SSO, MFA, adaptive authentication, and lifecycle management for corporate and government systems.

The role requires deep Okta expertise, RBAC design, and experience with NIST 800-171 and CMMC. You will partner with security leads and GRC to ensure audit readiness and zero-trust aligned controls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on IAM engineering experience with Okta in production.
• Deep Okta expertise: SSO, MFA, adaptive controls, workflows, SIEM integration.
• Strong with SSO protocols: SAML 2.0, OIDC, OAuth 2.0.
• Experience designing RBAC frameworks and access certification processes.
• Familiarity with privileged access management concepts and service accounts.
• Understanding of NIST 800-171, CMMC, ITAR compliance basics.

Responsibilities

• Own Okta environment end-to-end including config, apps, lifecycle management.
• Design and maintain SSO architecture for corporate and government apps.
• Develop adaptive authentication policies and risk-based access controls.
• Manage Okta workflows for provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Maintain Okta health, logs, and SIEM integration.
• Design RBAC and access governance across systems.
• Lead MDM provisioning and OS hardening policies.
• Oversee privileged access controls and service account governance.
• Ensure compliance with CMMC/NIST ITAR requirements.
• Collaborate with GRC, Security Operations, and network teams.
