Position: Cloud IAM Security Architect

Location: Remote

Overview:

We are seeking a Cloud IAM Security Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategies across multi-cloud environments. This role requires deep expertise in cloud security, architecture, and compliance frameworks to enhance our clients’ security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Align IAM strategy with security policies, standards, and business needs.
• Architect scalable and secure IAM solutions across AWS and Azure.
• Define IAM access models, policies, and best practices for authentication, authorization, and privileged access.
• Review and refine IAM roles, policies, and entitlements.
• Lead IAM project delivery and collaborate with stakeholders across cloud, DevOps, and application teams.
• Integrate IAM into CI/CD pipelines and enterprise cloud applications.
• Drive enterprise initiatives including SSO, MFA, RBAC, ABAC, and Identity Federation.
• Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with NIST, PCI DSS, GDPR, ISO 27001, and SOC2 standards.
• Automate IAM provisioning using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Mentor security engineers and lead incident response efforts.

Requirements:

• 8+ years in IT, with 5+ years in cloud IAM architecture or security roles.
• Proven experience with AWS IAM; Azure experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IAM frameworks, cloud security, and compliance standards.
• Hands-on experience with IAC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Leadership experience in managing IAM projects and teams.
