Qualifications

• 10+ years IAM experience in large enterprises, with at least 6 years hands-on SAP Security (ECC/S4HANA).
• 3+ years leading teams, including outsourced or offshore administration under SLAs.
• Experience designing IAM and identity governance controls across on-prem and cloud.
• Proven experience leading IAM and SAP Security audits (ITGC, SOX-style, NIS 2 or equivalent).
• Direct experience integrating HR sources (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors) into IAM lifecycle automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a hybrid IAM team with clear SLAs, quality standards and escalation paths.
• Own a multi-year IAM roadmap aligned to Zero Trust and enterprise security strategy.
• Serve as enterprise SAP Security SME across ECC, S/4HANA, BW/BI, RISE, Fiori, CIS, IAS, SolMan and GRC Access Control.
• Direct outsourced SAP admin team on day-to-day security operations, role changes and provisioning.
• Oversee SoD analysis, critical authorisation reviews, and patching cadence with SAP Basis.
• Lead IAM workstreams for upgrades, S/4HANA transformations, M&A integrations or carve-outs.
• Own Microsoft Entra ID Governance, entitlement management, access reviews, and PIM.
• Drive automation of joiner/mover/leaver across HRIS, Entra and AD with least-privilege.
• Define and enforce access certification cadences, mature RBAC/ABAC models and conditional access enterprise-wide.
• Lead IAM response to internal/external audits, GDPR, NIS 2 and cyber insurance requirements.
• Set priorities across operational, audit and project demands with risk-based rationale.
• Escalation point for IAM/SAP incidents with SOC/MDR coordination.
• Deliver executive updates and steering materials for CISO, CIO, CFO and leadership.
• Manage vendor/MSP relationships for IAM; scope SOWs and performance reviews.
• Maintain IAM policies, RACIs, and reference architectures; ensure audit-readiness.
• Mentor IAM, SAP, and infrastructure teams on best practices.
