Allied Consultants is seeking a contract Senior IAM Engineer to manage the enterprise IAM ecosystem for the Texas DPS project. The role focuses on designing a centralized identity provider framework with SAML 2.0 and OIDC for SSO and MFA, plus lifecycle workflows and application onboarding via REST APIs.

You will collaborate with security and IT teams to maintain consistent IAM practices, perform access reviews, and support provisioning using PowerShell and Python.

Job Description We are currently seeking a contract Senior IAM Engineer to be a key resource on a technical services team for our client, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).

Responsibilities

The Software Developer III will manage the enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) ecosystem throughout the contract. Responsibilities include designing and implementing a centralized identity provider framework using SAML 2.0 and OIDC for SSO and MFA, developing lifecycle workflows, onboarding applications via REST APIs, and establishing Role-Based Access Control. The role involves integrating IAM solutions across platforms, supporting IGA, Access Management, and Privileged Access Services, and collaborating with security and IT teams to maintain consistent IAM practices. Regularly assess IAM technologies, maintain technical documentation, and provide support for Directory, IAM services, servers, and databases.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements:

• 8 Required IAM Platform governance, engineering, lifecycle automation and Scripting
• 8 Required Application onboarding, Integrate business applications with IAM systems
• 5 Required Designing and implementing RBAC models, enforcing separation of duties and designing certification campaigns
