Job summary

Electric Reliability Council of Texas is seeking an experienced IAM leader to oversee enterprise identity and access management strategy, governance, and 24/7 operations. You will manage a team, collaborate with senior leaders, and drive remediation plans to close gaps across ERCOT systems.

The role requires a minimum of 8 years in IAM with at least 2 years in leadership, plus experience with large-scale IAM implementations and JIRA-based backlog management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business or related field required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in development and maintenance of complex IAM systems and 2 years in a leadership role.
• Experience implementing and/or managing large-scale Identity and Access Management systems; familiarity with incident management processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hiring, coaching, training, and performance management of IAM staff.
• Provide 24/7 IAM support and direct incident resolution with cross-functional teams.
• Define and maintain a comprehensive IAM strategy, governance, and compliance with standards (e.g., NERC/CIP).
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and technical leads to align IAM roadmaps and releases.
