Job summary

ModMed is seeking a Technical Product Owner to manage the backlog, technical roadmap, and execution strategy for our enterprise Identity & Access Management platform. You will bridge engineering, cybersecurity, compliance, and business stakeholders, translating complex security requirements into actionable epics and user stories.

You’ll work with a dedicated team of Java/Keycloak engineers to ensure SSO, SCIM provisioning, and GitOps deployments meet enterprise standards and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Technical Product Owner, Product Manager, or Systems Analyst roles.
• At least 2 years focused on IAM, Platform Engineering, or Security Infrastructure products.
• Strong understanding of identity protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0).
• Experience with SCIM provisioning and centralized authentication platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the tactical roadmap for central identity and authorization services.
• Own and refine the product backlog with acceptance criteria.
• Serve as liaison between developers, security, compliance, and business stakeholders.
• Lead Agile ceremonies in a cloud-native GitOps delivery framework.
• Utilize AI tools to write specs, generate acceptance criteria, and optimize workflows.
• Track key metrics like uptime, authentication latency, and audit readiness.
