Job summary

Gartner is seeking an experienced Lead IAM Engineer to architect and modernize enterprise IAM across Okta, Entra ID and other platforms. You will design secure authentication, authorization, and automation to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IAM experience in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with SSO libraries and secure integrations (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM).
• Experience with MFA configurations and policy management.
• Okta and Entra ID lifecycle management and governance.
• Automation skills with Python and PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and support of enterprise IAM across Okta, Entra ID, and other IAM platforms.
• Design SSO, MFA, and authentication policies.
• Architect identity integrations using SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, LDAP, and REST APIs.
• Manage Okta LCM and Entra ID identity lifecycle processes.
• Develop IAM automation using Python and PowerShell.
• Implement RBAC and PIM with least-privilege access.
• Collaborate with security, infra, app, and cloud teams to onboard applications.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
