Job summary

Pacer Group is seeking an IAM L1 Engineer/Analyst to operate within the Information Security and Identity & Access Management operations team. You will execute timely user provisioning, authentication support, and role-based access management to ensure secure, seamless operational continuity and compliance for the organization.

The role is hybrid, contract, 8 months, with a pay rate of $21.00/hr. Requirements include 5+ years IAM experience, hands-on Active Directory administration, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Identity and Access Management (IAM) operations and user lifecycle management experience.
• Hands-on user account administration in Active Directory (provisioning, de-provisioning, security groups, file shares, distribution lists)
• Access request fulfillment, incident ticketing, and onboarding/offboarding workflow execution using ServiceNow and ITIL frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Execute user account lifecycle activities including creation, modification, disablement, and de-provisioning across Active Directory, applications, file shares, security groups, and distribution lists.
• Manage user onboarding, offboarding, role updates, and access request tickets within ServiceNow following ITIL processes.
• Coordinate daily access management activities, documentation updates, and operational support across business units, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Perform basic scripting, automated workflow execution, operational monitoring, issue triage, and incident escalation.
• Assist with IDM system testing, disaster recovery simulations, patch deployment support, and on-call operational rotation coverage.
