Job summary

Vanguard is seeking an IAM/IGA Engineering Delivery Manager to lead a team of engineers responsible for building, modernizing, and supporting Vanguard’s Identity Governance and Administration capabilities. Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years related work experience, with at least five years of project management; leadership preferred.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent; graduate degree preferred.
• Set IAM/IGA engineering vision and roadmap; align with senior leadership on priorities and investments.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing engineering delivery teams.
• Strong understanding of IAM/IGA including identity lifecycle management, access provisioning, governance, certifications, roles, and integrations.
• Experience across the software development lifecycle and production support, including incident and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery and operation of enterprise IAM/IGA capabilities including lifecycle management, provisioning, certifications, roles, and integrations.
• Lead modernization across SailPoint and IAM ecosystem balancing investments with maintenance priorities.
• Coach and develop technical leads, engineers, and QA professionals emphasizing accountability and engineering excellence.
• Partner with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to translate priorities into executable roadmaps.
• Manage scope, priorities, capacity, dependencies, risks, and delivery commitments across multiple initiatives.
• Ensure availability, stability, resiliency, performance, and operational readiness of IAM platforms and services.
• Provide leadership across production engineering including incident management, monitoring, and release management.
• Ensure engineering solutions adhere to information security, risk, change management, testing, and control requirements.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement to enhance platform reliability and delivery efficiency.
• Build strong partnerships across technology, security, architecture, operations, and external partners.
• Communicate delivery status and key metrics to senior leadership.
• Support workforce, capacity, financial, and vendor planning while ensuring knowledge transfer.
