Vanguard is seeking a senior security-focused software engineer to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise cloud controls. You will shape standards for policy, CI/CD, and automation, while mentoring engineers across teams to raise security and reliability.

The role blends hands-on coding with architectural leadership. Experience with AWS, IaC (CloudFormation/Terraform), and policy tooling is essential, as is comfort operating in regulated environments.

Formación

• Requires 7+ years related work experience with 4+ years in cloud or security engineering.
• Produces production-grade code in Python and heavy infrastructure-as-code, notably CloudFormation or Terraform.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical design reviews and set standards for controls built, tested, and shipped.
• Mentor engineers on security standards, patterns, and frameworks; resolve complex issues.
• Influence patterns and drive technical direction across teams without direct authority.
• Design enterprise-scale policy pipelines and event-driven remediation architectures.
• Move between design and hands-on build; stay close to code.
