Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Information Security Specialist to strengthen IAM governance, focusing on RBAC and SoD controls. You will design, implement, and maintain access governance processes, and partner with business and technology stakeholders to improve security posture.

The role emphasizes risk reporting, dashboards, and collaboration with audit and risk teams across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in IAM or information security roles with governance focus.
• Strong knowledge of RBAC, SoD, access governance, entitlements, and compliance controls.
• Experience implementing IAM controls and governance processes to address risks.
• Familiarity with SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, Okta, Entra ID or similar solutions.
• Experience supporting regulatory, audit, and risk management programs.
• Proven ability to develop dashboards and risk analytics with Power BI, Excel, SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop SoD policies and controls across enterprise apps and platforms.
• Collaborate with owners and technologists to capture SoD requirements and governance controls.
• Support RBAC design, role management, and access governance processes.
• Perform IAM risk assessments, identify gaps, and recommend remediations.
• Create dashboards and KPIs to measure IAM governance effectiveness.
• Assist audits and regulatory reviews with evidence collection and remediation.
