Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams and delivering impactful, scalable solutions.
• Strong foundation in software engineering, with deep system design skills and hands-on experience in technologies such as Java, Postgres and Redis.
• Reliability and scalability are priorities, with experience in high-load distributed systems.
• Hands-on and collaborative, fostering a supportive and learning-driven environment.
• Set a high bar to deliver maintainable, scalable code and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to define and deliver the next version of Authentication and Authorization at Adyen.
• Ensure reliability, performance and scalability; authentication and authorization are part of Adyen's critical flows.
• Lead hands-on by coding, participating in technical discussions, code reviews, and system design.
• Mentor engineers, set a high-quality bar, and promote best practices.
• Foster an inspiring and inclusive team culture of ownership, autonomy, collaboration and feedback.
• Effectively manage stakeholders across the company.
